When I first look upon this page, and review the work role categories, my least appealing area automatically would be oversight and governance (OG). In my opinion it’s one of the most important areas, but it feels like it would be the most stressful environment. It’s possible I have my own bias on too much government involvement and bureaucracy. The only role within the OG that appeals is the Cybersecurity Instruction, the role of training and bringing awareness of cybersecurity sounds great. I am tied between protection and defense (PD) and investigation (IN). I do believe it is my guardian mentality as I am a police officer that did investigations for 7 years, and a veteran. As a victim of cybersecurity, I want to know how it happened and how to prevent future attacks on me as well as others.  These are the fields that I want to explore and narrow down to which I would like to build my career on.
