The project that we completed for this class was a challenge to design a product that could theoretically cool a six-pack of soda to a desired temperature within 5 minutes. For our design we decided to use a forced convection cooling system using a salt brine cooled with ice. The ice cold salt brine would then be circulated around the can using a submersible water pump.
