Most of these actions on the list we have all done at least once and didn’t realize we were breaking the law. The first one that I think is most illegal that is on the list is “Faking your identity online”. This is extremely illegal and is something that can get you in serious trouble with the federal government. Not only that but you can ruin someone’s life by stealing and using their identity. Next up I have “collecting information about children”, this one is also on another level because of how creepy it is as well. As the author says it is also illegal to lie about your age on the internet so therefore it almost goes both ways, although collecting data about children is something that no one should be doing for any reason. The 3rd one that I’ve chosen is bullying and trolling as this isn’t bad off the bat but could lead to more serious problems if it continues to get worse with the bullying and could lead to self-harm or worse. The next one up is “sharing passwords, addresses, or photos of others.” This one is almost like stealing someone’s identity but not as terrible as a lot of sites have either two-factor authentication or you can disable your account once it is noticed. The final one I have chosen is “Recording a VoIP call without consent” I feel as if recording any call should get you in a lot of trouble as a lot of serious conversation is done over the phone and classified information can also be said over a secured line. Either way, it isn’t something anyone should be doing for any reason.
