As a librarian, my primary objective is to provide my patrons with services and resources that meet their cultural, informational, educational and recreational needs. There are a number of activities that have to happen to develop the library collection like following the school systems selection policy, identification of patron needs, curriculum needs, and collection maintenance and weeding.

The following document is a collection development plan that I created based on the needs of my library. The second document is a collection summary and a breakdown of my library budget.
