Picture Book Analysis and Review


In the “Picture Book Analysis and Review” assignment, students are tasked with selecting a children’s literature book to examine its artistic and literary qualities. Through a two-part paper, they analyze a chosen picture book, I selected “The Bear and the Piano” by David Litchfield, utilizing concepts learned from course lectures and readings. The review focuses on the enchanting blend of storytelling and striking visuals within the book, emphasizing its exploration of passion, perseverance, and the transformational power of music.
