You’re tech savvy now! You did a great job creating with those images. 🙂 I love how you’d incorporate things to help extend the classroom lessons.

Thanks! I feel a lot more comfortable now with these programs. I can’t wait to implement them into the school library’s lesson plans.

Even though Big Huge Labs wasn’t very user friendly, the trading card you created with it demonstrates how effective of a tool it can be in the classroom. You did an awesome job editing!

I had some problems editing the first picture I chose for the card. I couldn’t get it to the center, so I ended up choosing another picture. I’m glad it finally turned out the way I hoped.

You are not alone in being intimidated and I feel very comfortable with tech! You did a really good job of editing the images. I too found Tuxpi to be easy to use but it’s more so if you want a quick and easy edit. I played around on Pixlr for about an hour because there were so many options and things to do but it became very overwhelming.

I felt the same as you when I began this assignment! Pixlr’s lack of an alignment button is indeed frustrating. I love your work from BigHugeLabs; I think a lot of their tools are especially useful for presentations and information that can be shared among students. Great rundown of different features of these programs!

You did an amazing job editing the animal images! The frog image is adorable! I like how you went in depth with how you tried each tool and mentioned the pros and cons of it. Great job!

Having your students create the trading card to accompany a report about an animal is fabulous! I think they would really have fun with that.

I would have to agree with you that I’m not that much of a tech-savvy person even though I am in my early 20s, haha. I feel like I’m already falling behind. I really had fun looking for images and editing them with the different kinds of tools given. I loved your idea of the trading card ideas depending on an already happening project that is happening at your school!
