Sandbox #3 Infographics

I use Canva all the time at work as a marketing consultant. The free version is extremely useful and easy to download. We have used the pro-version in the past at work but you can get a lot of images, flyers, Instagram sized images, posters, and lots of different texts.

Piktochart requires you to make an account and verify your email before use. You also need to provide what field you are in. At the initial stage, you can select between infographics, presentations, posters, reports, and flyers. When you select the infographics you have a large selection of layouts to choose from. I would have liked if they had different size infographics to choose from.  You can easily insert images directly from Piktochart. When you edit the size shape from the images doesn’t keep its integrity. It’s way too easy to distort your image size. It is very easy to change colors, text font and shapes in the layout.  The image I uploaded was from Piktochart and I am very happy with it overall.

Easel.y was easy to use. I did not have to create an account right away. It does start you off with a completely blank slate. This makes you have to create your image from scratch. You can customize it right from the very beginning. It was very easy to find graphics to add directing from the site, you can also add animations, shapes, and icons by dragging them onto the image. Because you start with a blank slate I went with the Piktochart image to upload because it was easier to create from a template.

Thank you! Green is my favorite color and the easiest for your eyes to see!

This is beautiful!! I especially like the use of the circles to tie everything together, and your choice of photos rather than icons or illustrations. It looks very elegant!
