Space & Physical Acesss
The library is located on the first floor of the school and near the front entrance of the school. The space is large and inviting it reminds of a typical school library. The school does have wifi for the students to access. The library has a main space and then a small office space for the librarian. The space needs updating the carpet looks old and the walls need a painting overall.

Collections
Currently there is not much on the website, due to the summer program. There are a few standard apps on the website, Nearpod and pebble go.. The new librarian for the upcoming school term will redesign the site to include and special collections.
Other
The space is separated into two sides, one side has an open space, and the other is filled with table and chairs. I liked the idea of this set-up as it allowed for centers to be arranged for students to enjoy.
Sounds like a great way to spend the summer- reading, movement and check out! A mosaic sticker poster sounds fun. If you think of it, shoot us a picture when it is finished. I’d love to see it!
You took some amazing pictures. What a cute library! I think it is awesome that you have been helping out with Summer Storytime! I recently just got finished helping out with a summer reading program. What a coincidence! I have noticed kids greatly enjoy summer programs.
Yes, the students are enjoying story-time, I have been trying to make it more interactive.
