Mission + Vision
mPark is a creative and collaborative makerspace at Old Dominion University that provides the space, tools, and support to empower students, faculty, and staff to dream, create, and achieve.
mPark provides a welcoming, low-barrier environment where people can explore creative technologies, develop new skills, experiment with ideas, and bring their projects to life. Whether you are new to making or an experienced maker, mPark is here to help you learn, create, and explore.
Our makerspace supports a wide range of creative, digital, and hands-on projects, including 3D printing, crafting, digital making, zines, chapbooks, posters, class projects, and workshops.
mPark welcomes students, faculty, and staff from different disciplines, backgrounds, and levels of experience.
The mPark staff provides consultations, instruction, and project support for creative and digital-making projects during office hours or by appointment.
