Synthesis

Synthesis is the ability to understand and apply disparate ideas into one multidimensional interpretation. This is an essential skill for interdisciplinary fields such as library science, and allows for novel uses of existing knowledge.

In my final paper for Foundations of Leadership, I analyzed how my values and professional development have interacted with leadership principles throughout my career. I then asserted how I would use this understanding to empower colleagues while serving as their leader.

Below is a project I conducted for Digital Writing. In this project, we had to compare the writing produced by generative artificial intelligence to that produced by a human. I decided to prompt ChatGPT to write a piece of fiction and compared it to prose I wrote of the same scene. This comparison examines the competence of technology and the worth of art produced from the human imagination.

Influential Hulk

My final project for Digital Writing tasked us to research a topic and present a rhetorical argument using multimedia and web design principles for engagement and persuasion. I chose to write about the influence Hulk media has on dedicated fans. My project had a wonderful reception, as shown above.
