About Me
Hello,
My name is Wesley Myers, and I am a Senior at Old Dominion University. I decided to come to ODU since I grew up in this area, and for the offered programs for community service and AROTC. Having been in this area my whole life, it’s become a goal of mine to continue the adventurous life I so enjoy in new places. Camping, hiking, running, building, tinkering, and generally anything hands-on is my happy place. I love getting unique physical obstacles and finding ways to overcome them. Tragically, this doesn’t always extend into the classroom…
Regarding the MET350 Thermal Applications course, I am finding out that it has helped me by providing a deeper understanding of basic applications of thermodynamics. MEt350 is proving to be insightful in areas of understanding heat engines and the principles of varying types of steam and gas systems. This material is something that I can bring with me into my upcoming career, as I will be working with and in close proximity to engines, gas, and steam systems regularly.
