Developing and implementing anything related to cybersecurity or anything digital can be very difficult and expensive. There are many costs and benefits associated with this. A few benefits include securing important information, updated and advanced software and security, less chance of a cyber related attack and potential hacking, and many more benefits. The first example of a cost would be the cost. Downloading or creating these softwares and programs in order to have a safer and more secure company costs thousands of dollars and further research. The company also may need to hire and pay people to create or implement this program to download into their computers. They would have to conduct research on what company they think would benefit theirs and use their cyber security program. The company would also need to train employees on how to use these programs. Training the employees puts them and the company at less risk of having a cyber attack occur. This would also be a financial cost because they may need to hire outside employees to show and train the employees they may already have to use these softwares and programs. The employees would need weeks, maybe a few months to fully grasp and understand what they are being taught in order to ensure there are no faults in the programs and avoid potential hacking issues. A benefit of developing cyber security programs is that hackers can be avoided. Since the company would choose a cyber security program that they think is the best for their company. It would be harder for hackers to steal their information. Having these cyber security programs installed would also keep employees safe from personal attacks. These personal attacks can include name, address, and bank information. Having these programs installed would greatly benefit any company but it is also very costly.
