During my internship with the Chesapeake Sheriff’s Office, I gained hands-on experience in law enforcement operations, community outreach, and the criminal justice system. I had the opportunity to observe daily procedures, assist with administrative duties, and engage with deputies and staff to better understand public service and safety. This experience strengthened my communication skills, attention to detail, and passion for serving the community.
