The principles of science are related to cybersecurity in not only a practical sense but also in a theoretical practice as well. Concepts like determinism are drives to keep people going to get the job done no matter how monumental the task is. While skepticism keeps people with a mind set that prevents people from being too gullible to fall for attacks like phishing. Ethical neutrality helps people’s ideas and concepts on what the problem is or solution on how to fix said problem to be heard. While realism on the other hand is a natural human flaw that allows us to make assumptions before we even try the option that someone else had brought up. So just like in the scientific field, the cybersecurity fields will go through the same stages and concepts when doing their work in their respective fields.
