NICE​ Workforce Framework for​ Cybersecurity (NICE Framework) — Groups cybersecurity work into specialty areas. Relatively, I would prioritize “secure provision” and “analyze.” I find that the creativity and problem-solving aspects of designing/developing secure systems are centered on “Secure Provision,” so I was a bit more dependent on creative thought processes. The last area, “Analyze,” is interesting because this is the portion where you need to get what you have and the threat model—something that requires a lot of effort if one wants cybersecurity.

Conversely, the “Operate and Maintain” domain ranks lowest for me. This part handles day-to-day operations and maintenance of cybersecurity systems (which, according to me, is not that exciting compared to other aspects of research in cybersecurity).
