I’m pursuing a career in nursing, so that is my intended major. I chose nursing because it’s my personal belief that if you have the ability to help others, you should. I have experience from my high school pharmacy program where we went into hospitals to shadow under pharmacists. We interacted with mostly nurses and I realized that I like to be around patients and in a more hands-on position than I would be in as a pharmacist. My dream is to be a pediatric nurse because I love working with children and I feel like I would have the most impact in that field.
