I officially received approval to begin my research on 5/20/24 from the Institutional Review Board at Old Dominion University. This is a huge step that will allow me to converse with and interview participants about their experiences with being an Oakland Athletics fan and what their opinions are about relocation.
After attending the River Cats vs Aviators event held on 4/27 and speaking with fans at Spring Training this is a big step that will allow me to collect information and use it in the dissertation project that I have planned.
