In my Prologue, I said that Outright books was established on September 4th, 1991 at 485 S Independence Blvd, Virginia Beach. I did some further research to find out that this date was a little off from what I had originally thought. It turns out that Outright was officially established on September 3rd, 1991. I find this interesting because I feel like it’s important to know the history of when a place opened and closed. Especially since now, it is super hard to find information about these historical local places.

Even though I was connected to Frank Osgood who knows the owner of Outright Books, I didn’t really get a name for the guy who owned it. To be honest with you, it was because I was so interested in what our guest speakers had to say that it might have slipped through the conversation. However, I found out recently that the man who owned Outright Books is named Earl Jones.
