In my  Memoir, I wrote about my 2018 summer vacation. I went back to my birth country after five years to see my family that still lives there. At first, I was not looking forward to the trip because I did not have good memories about Togo. Later on, my mind changed because I realized how much in missed my family, the food, the culture, and the country in general.

The Rhetorical Analysis was the hardest paper for me to write. I found it challenging to organize all my ideas on paper and use all the rhetorical elements effectively. The citations were also hard because I always forgot that there were four parts to them. Despite all the difficulties I learned more academically useful tools from this assignment.

For my  Food Review, I had to write about a place named Handsome Biscuits. I wrote about the food, the service, and the overall vibe of the restaurant. This assignment taught me how to use vivid and uncommon details to describe settings, objects, people, and food.
