My name is Parker Gallahan, and I am an Old Dominion student currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity. I earned an associate degree in applied science from Piedmont Virginia Community College and graduated cum laude. In addition, I have 5 years of work experience as an Information Technology Technician working in educational settings such as Louisa County Public Schools and Piedmont Virginia Community College. While working toward my associate’s degree at Piedmont Virginia Community College, I worked 25 hours a week as an Information Technology Technician while attending full-time. Through this experience, I honed my time management skills and worked in a professional setting, providing users with swift, concise support for day-to-day activities and emergency response for out-of-commission technology.
