Several concerns come to mind when considering a wide topic like ethical concerns while preserving electronic information about people such as: privacy, accuracy, property, and accessibility.There is an issue about how a person’s data is being stored as it becomes easier to store our information using various developments like storage devices. Information permeates, and improperly storing a person’s information undermines confidence, shows a disregard for the law, and violates moral principles. These days security and privacy literally go hand in hand.The use of biometrics is becoming more prevalent, as is the use of access control for protecting applications over insecure infrastructure. These are all techniques a company can use to safeguard customer information on its networks and prevent privacy invasions.The accuracy of the information given online is another ethical issue, from making sure that the digital information is accurate to being “catfished” on social media. Property is a major ethical concern.How much of personal information is stored is ours and how much does a company own as Intellectual property.Who has the right to view and access our information provided to a firm is the last concern when considering electronic information storage.

The reputation of the company would suffer if there isn’t a moral and professional culture in an association for handling personal data. Additionally, ethical monitoring is anticipated to ensure that appropriate security measures are used to store personal data. Clear standards and moral rules should be provided to people so they understand the proper course of action, and uncertainty and confusion that come with storing information must be avoided. Other than that, we should consider both existing and future uses of information in order to have a full overview of good and moral rules of handling electronic information. To ensure information security, the put away information’s secrecy and obscurity should be protected.
