Hello, My name is Patrick Anderson, and I am studying to obtain a bachelor of arts degree in communication at Old Dominion University with a concentration in lifespan communication. Currently, I am also taking a Spanish foreign language class and really enjoy learning about the culture, language, and way of life in Spanish-speaking countries. I would like to incorporate my knowledge of Spanish into the workforce, and possibly into real-life social interactions. I currently reside in the Washington DC Metropolitan Area and love the different nationalities and vibrant cultures DC has to offer. After graduating with a communication degree, I would like to pursue technical writing possibly in the medical, health field, and even the Federal Government. Using my excellent writing, and research skills will benefit any company, as well as people in society. Being able to communicate effectively in English and Spanish is essential in today’s ever-diverse cultures, and will enable me to work with different types of backgrounds, skills, and knowledge.
