  • What are your basic roles and responsibilities? Teach in the master’s science program, and director of clinical education
  • What is your favorite (or most rewarding) aspect about the job? Build relationships with patients, work with them through trauma 
  • What is the most surprising aspect of your career? How many people don’t understand what athletic training actually is
  • What is the most challenging aspect of your career? Working with them through trauma and seeing them in pain

What advice would you give to someone getting into the health field? Understand what athletic training is before you get into it through shadowing
