My Major

My intended major is Nursing!

I chose nursing as my major because I really enjoy and take pride in helping others. My mother has been a nurse for 26 years and I have always looked up to her as a role model. As a young child, I have always been very affectionate, nurturing, and hands-on. I knew when I used to play with my mothers scrubs and stethoscopes that when I got older, I too also wanted to be in a health and/or medical profession.

Because COVID-19 broke out when it did, it prevented me from getting the wanted experience in the field early on. Due to this set back, I am excited to get the needed experience early on in college!
