Some values that I hold close to my heart include treat others how you want to be treated and to not judge others. My mom always taught me these things from a young age. My school that I attended third to twelfth grade upheld the SPICES: simplicity, peace, integrity, community, equality and stewardship. These stuck with me as well. I would like to be a sports psychologist. This requires patience and acceptance and understanding of others that may be different than me. My desire to pursue higher education was based on the fact that it is a necessity for the career path I want to embark on. My mother and high school teachers made college seem essential, so I thought it would be the best route for me and my future.
