Digital Forensics as A Career

I found Davin Teo’s TED talk in Hong Kong on his career in digital forensics very interesting. I, admittedly, did not know much about digital forensics as a career, and hearing about a few of the many things he does in his career was highly informative. Digital forensics as a whole can relate back to the social sciences. One in the field must be aware of both human behaviors and the theories behind them in order to properly evaluate the exact process behind how data may have been concealed. This knowledge could also be useful to begin to determine some kind of motive for cybercrimes or crimes that have utilized technological means. Overall, this TED talk has shown, once again, that cybersecurity should be approached with an interdisciplinary mindset.
