About Me

My name is Samantha Farrow, I was born in Fort Walton Beach, Florida, but spent most of my life in North Carolina. Growing up was pretty tough for me, I’ve been through a lot physically and emotionally, but it made me this person that I am today; a strong and independent woman.

I am currently attending ODU out of state, majoring in communications. With this degree and knowledge, I aim to pursue a career that allows me to utilize my skills in media and public relations, ultimately making a positive impact in the field. I am 23 years old and I have a 2-year-old son who is my biggest motivation and joy. Balancing school, work, and motherhood has been challenging, but it’s also incredibly rewarding and has shaped me into a resilient individual ready to take on the world.

Currently, I work as a personal care assistant, which has given me valuable experience in managing tasks, coordinating schedules, and communicating effectively with diverse groups of people. I graduate in May with my bachelor’s in communications, and I am excited about the opportunities that lie ahead. My journey has not been easy, but it has taught me the importance of perseverance, hard work, and the unwavering love I have for my son. These experiences have prepared me for a future where I can thrive both personally and professionally.
