I am interested in Cybersecurity technology as I see it as the future of this world. Not only is it a vast and challenging discipline containing a plethora of knowledge to be discovered, but it is also an underdeveloped sector with an infinite number of possible problems to be solved. There is a number of computer-related sectors to exist, and Cybersecurity is a perfect balance of them all providing a challenging problem-solving environment entangled with theocraticals and unknowns. The field of Cybersecurity is riddled with entropy that is just waiting to be tamed!

Criminology and cybersecurity go hand in hand just as peanut butter and jelly do. Criminology is the study of crime and criminal behavior: and seeing how cybersecurity is the maintaining and development of security systems to prevent and stop criminal attacks they are perfectly entangled creating a pool of cause and effect.

Computer Science is a broad discipline with many of its sub-categories directly relating to and including Cybersecurity! From Network and Computer systems to software development and computer programming it is all entangled with Cybersecurity creating perfect tandem. Knowledge about all of computer science is very beneficial for Cybersecurity as there is always something that you do not know and there is always something that can be improved.

Network Engineering is a prominent aspect of Cybersecurity as knowing how networks work and strengthening the security of a network is one of the most important aspects of Cybersecurity. Without a strong network then you’re vulnerable to many attacks compromising the system.

Information Systems and Technology is a field that bridges technology to business and people. Cybersecurity, at the end of the day, is a business. It is a transaction offering protective services for an enterprise. Managing a team, its products, and its services is vital to distributing and maintaining the cybersecurity field.
