My intended major is nursing. I chose this major because I feel it is a great fit for me, especially after taking the opportunity to obtain my certified nurse aide license through Rappahannock Community College and Northern Neck Technical Center. During the year-long class, I found out how much I adored being able to help people in a holistic manner, even if it was only geriatrics at the time. I knew from that moment, I wanted to pursue a degree in nursing and expand my knowledge in the nursing field. After getting licensed, I worked in as assisted living facility for six months, getting my own hands-on experience.
