While I have not had the opportunity to attend any extracurricular events thus far I would like to attend in the future outside of class. I am particularly drawn to events that celebrate traditional and contemporary cultural foods, as well as gatherings featuring guest speakers who share their unique life stories. For instance, I would relish the chance to attend a presentation by a renowned comic book artist whose works highlight their rich Spanish heritage. I look forward to expanding my knowledge and appreciation of the Hispanic culture and community through such events in the future.
