Hello, My name is Shawnice Garrett I am 31 years old from Virginia. I attend Old Dominion University majoring in Human Services. I currently work in the human service field with individuals who have intellectual disabilities. My individuals are who inspired me to continue my education in the human service field. I have been working with them for almost ten years. This is my last class here at Old Dominion University before I begin my internship. I have two daughters who are 1 and 8 years old they along with my work keep me busy. In the future I hope to be the best human service advocate because there are so many changes that happen within society that affect those within our communities.
