Top Artifact 1-Module 6

I liked this assignment because it really makes you reflect on your personality traits. I do a lot of self reflecting so I am always eager to do activities that open my mind. I learned from this activity

This expanded my knowledge of my self as I found that my behaviors were consistent across situations. For example for the trait honest I behaved in a way that was honest and truthful. My representative image is a screenshot of my five personality traits. These traits include silly, honest, thoughtful, persistent, and spontaneous along with the corresponding behavior.

Top Artifact 2-Module 8 Archive

I liked this item to archive because it challenges you to be honest about the stereotypes you’ve made about other groups. This activity was eye opening and a little surprising. What I learned from this activity is that stereotypes are not stagnant. They change over the years due to multiple different factors such as position in society.

This expanded my knowledge about stereotypes because I realize it isn’t bad to have personally built stereotypes, but it is bad to enforce those stereotypes on others by assuming that they are right. When navigating stereotypes it is important to have an open mind. My visual representation for this activity is a word cloud created by me. Included are words that I believe describe me as a person.

Top Artifact 3-Module 14 Archive

I liked this item the most because it makes me wonder if this is an accurate way to assess subjective happiness. I think generally this scale works however, I believe there are more factors to take in to account. I learned from this activity that I according to the scale I am close to the average for college students with a 4.75. I also learned that although I don’t now if I have reached true happiness, I am definitely closer than I was a few years ago.

I think this has expanded my knowledge on subjective happiness because I can see why adults and older people usually score higher. The reason I came up with is that as college students we don’t all know where we are headed with our lives and we don’t have as much money as adults. My visual image for this archive is shown below. As you can see the young child is running with balloons with no care in the world. That innocent, carefree attitude that we might’ve had as children is what I think happiness looks like.
