Hello! My name is Mizell Smalls. I am a fourth year Mechanical Engineering Technology student here at Old Dominion University with a minor in Film Studies. I am expected to graduate with my bachelors degree in Spring, 2026.

Studying thermal applications will help me as a Mechanical Engineering Technology student by giving me a solid understanding of how heat and energy affect mechanical systems like engines, power plants, and HVAC systems. It will also improve my problem-solving skills, allowing me to design more efficient machines and troubleshoot real-world thermal issues in my future career.
