The four ethical issues that can be a problem when storing electronic information is privacy, inaccurate data, Security breaches, and consent. Privacy is an ethical issue because you are supposed to respect a person’s privacy especially dealing with their personal information. Sharing someone’s information is evading their privacy and violating privacy rights and that can make the person gain a loss of trust in you for not keeping their information secured. Inaccurate data or information can be another ethical issue because if the people storing your data messes up for example like going to the doctor and your information is not correct for your condition you are at the doctor for it can affect you and it makes the organization a liability. Security breaches is the most important one because all organizations need to have strong security measures to protect everybody’s personal information. Poor security can lead to a lot of people data being compromised and access gain to their names, addresses, and social security numbers. Last is consent which is also important when dealing with people personal information. You always supposed to communicate with the person and tell them where they data is going, how is it being used, and why is it being stored. The US cybersecurity risks are in between. The US has not passed the federal privacy law General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) that protects all citizens certain states have passed like California, Virginia, Utah, Colorado, and Connecticut. During the pandemic, the US were mostly impacted with malware along with Spain for over 48% of overall files detected. Compared to Denmark it is more secure with cybersecurity just like it was in 2019 and 2020 it had zero users attacked by mobile ransomwares and mobile banking trojans. It had great security measures to not be affected by malware attacks during the pandemic compared to the US which had intermediate security to be protected from the attacks according to the map.
