I am still not entirely sure what I want to do for my career so I have just been taking science classes since high school because they seem to be the most interesting to me! I took this class as a requirement for my degree but I do feel what I learned in this class overall will help me with future courses that will hopefully help me decide what I want to do in the future. I think understanding the parts of cells, what those parts do, and what they are made of is very useful information in the scientific field and will help me with a basic understanding of what life is. I know everyone learns that the mitochondria is the power house of the cell but now I understand things like oxidative phosphorylation and how the body uses ATP other than just knowing it is energy. I feel like this class has given me a deeper understanding of what people think are the basics.
