I chose this video describing the phases of cell division for my meme because I like that it is a new song! I had seen this video pop up on my Instagram feed a couple weeks ago and when I saw this assignment I knew it was the perfect submission. All throughout middle and high school I have seen projects like this where students have to rewrite a song which educational lyrics but I feel like it is always the same boring kind of songs they use. This video is to the song “Gnarly” by Katseye which is currently trending. I thought the video was cute and fun with the visuals they added especially the one where their legs are chromosomes. While I did not learn anything new from this video since we learned about cell division this semester, I thought that it is a fun video that showed me that there are people out there who like biology and kpop like me!
