Continued growth in cybersecurity is necessary due to the continuous change of technology and threat landscapes. I completed CompTIA Security+ certification three years ago, and this course helped refresh my existing knowledge and prepare for Sec+ renewal.

It was a challenge to balance work, family, and course work due to an unexpected work-load increase and schedule change. I dedicated a great amount of time front-loading modules to cover the time where I knew I would have limited access to the internet.

I’ll apply what I’ve learned both professionally and academically. At work, risk analysis of cybersecurity systems is always on my mind and reading the module has given me a new outlook to tackle it. The AI topics covered a lot and will be applicable when going into AI related courses in the near future.
