I have tons of experience working with hardware due to my job at IPConfigure where I have worked for over a year and a half. I have built all kinds of servers working there and have had to troubleshoot various computer components on each kind of server. I have also taken IT classes where I’ve learned some knowledge about hardware, but didn’t get the hands-on experience like I’m able to at IPConfigure. Knowing the hardware components and how to troubleshoot them is very important for an IT job especially if it is an IT support job. The artifacts on this page will show my hardware knowledge as well as bits of my experience with hardware at IPConfigure. The first and third artifact are reflection papers on my Hardware Assembly Technician position as my internship for CYSE 368. These two papers cover different aspects of what I did for my position as well as showing pictures to give a better idea of what I do and how it looks. The second artifact is a research assignment on storage devices for IT 201 which is an intro class for IT and was the first class I took when I decided to minor in IT.
