It makes the statistical analysis and makes it digestible for even non cybersecurity professionals to foster education within the country about the rise and number of cyber breaches with occur. This information allows researchers to better inform the people they are presenting to the information about cybersecurity in the proper context of understanding why and how these breaches occur. Communication is half the battle, and a direct educational aid is really effective at breaking down more complex concepts into bite size form.
