Interpretive, Interpersonal, and Presentational Modes of Communication
Exploring Culture
It is important to explore different cultures. This allows you understand other people. This can helps Americas problem now as a nation. We do not celebrate or appreciate other cultures as a nation. One things is my parents took me to the Dominican Repblic. I have domincan descent with my blood and family. The took me on this trip not just for vacation but to understand my heritage.
That experience helped me to understand my heritage. It made me appreciate it a lot more than what I did before. Even though I am closer to my African and American heritage than I am to my Dominican side. I learned my one of my family’s culture. Traveling to this Spanish speaking countries is a good way to understand their culture. Once you do that you will find more appreciate for their even if its not in your family. America as a nation would not be this bad if we just engage and exploring different cultures.

Engaging in Communities
In my opinion, it is very important to engage in your communities and others. This interaction with your communities or others helps you and others. You will be able to understand people a lot better. There would not show much divide within us as a nation. You can start networking with people when you engage with your community and others.
I really did not engaged in my communities or other much. COVID-19 made that extremely hard to been within my community and other. When everything goes about to normal and it is safe then I will go to community and other.

Interpersonal Communication
We had many different discussion board assignments. We had to look up painters. It was amazing that many of the famous Spanish painters had pretty well-known art. I thought this was an interpersonal communication that I had in this class.
We only had a few discussion board to do. This assignment was not that hard at all. I excel by just doing research on these painter and writing about them. There really was not much to learn from with this assignment. You just had to do research about Spanish painter and talk about one their most famous paintings.

Presentational Speaking
We did several presentational speaking. Most of them were with one another. We had to do a dialogue with one of our peers. We would ask each other a series and of questions and we must respond and also ask them questions.
Doing the oral quiz was a little challenging. You had to know what the question meant and come with the correct responses. You also have to be sure that are listening correctly. Those are probably was the most challenging. I keep practicing before the oral quiz so I could do good. I excelled at asking my peers questions. I would study just a little bit differently next time.

Presentational Writing
We did do some writing assignments. One of the assignments was we had to write a letter. We wrote a letter talking about our family to one of our friends. This was one of the writing assignments was presentational writing.
Writing the letter in Spanish was very easy. The most difficult part was just making my corrections. I was kind of difficult because I was unsure what to do with each correction. I emailed my professor and asked her to explain what each correction meant. That was how I overcame the difficulties. I exceled at that writing part of letter. Next Time I am goin to already know what each correction means.

Interpretive Listening
They’re not that many interpretive listening assignments. The one thing that I can think of is some of the homework I had to do. In our homework, we have certain assignments that we must listen to understand the question.
The only challenging part about the listening part was just making sure I heard everything correctly. I took my time when listening to this audio recordings. I did not find this interesting because it was just work that I need to get done. My biggest takeaway is taking my time going through theses. I grown a lot with each activity. I was able to get through it a lot faster each time.

Interpretive Reading
We did not do a lot of reading. The only reading we did was just study for tests and quizzes. The book would give several examples to read and try to use with a sentence or whatever the question was asking. This interpretive reading was related to my Spanish learning this semester.
It was not really that challenging. I just had to take my time and focus on when to do this. I did not everything I read was interesting but there were some compelling things I read. The biggest takeaway is to make sure you comprehend what you are reading. I have grown with each assignment. I started to understand what I was reading.
