This artifact is a summative assessment designed to measure what the students have learned throughout the lessons. Economic and political systems are important to understand in order to be functional adults after graduation. This assignment allows me to evaluate my students’ ability to think critically about different systems such as capitalism, socialism, and Marxism. This assignment also tests the knowledge of major economic thinkers and historical influences, including John Maynard Keynes and the impact of Keynesian policies on the New Deal.
This assignment aligns with the course standards that are required per the VDOE and Roanoke City Public Schools. I aim to ensure that students can successfully complete this assignment in order to verify the full understanding of the subject. This assignment will be a summative grade for the module and complete the students learning of the economic and political systems for this classroom.
