My name is Tryfene Scott. I have a Masters Degree in Epidemiology. My current goals are to combine expand my knowledge in Cybersecurity. Cybersecurity is new for me, and I look forward to learning as much as I can from this course. The Health industry has suffered tremendously from privacy breaches in patients digital identity.

In order to protect ones health information, there has to be new innovative ways to detect and prevent cyber theft. I am already familiar with privacy standards regarding healthcare such as HIPPA, etc. So it’s important that I learn, in greater depth, the technology available and the methods involved in Cybersecurity.
