A great author once said, “The only thing that will make you happy is being happy with yourself.” I find that to be very true. That is what I continue to tell myself and my family. I always try to tell them that your family is sometimes all that you need. I would also tell my family to stay humble and live your life to the fullest and whatever you do to keep God first. And when you do that, everything will fall in place from there.
According to (SHS), I consider myself as a very happy person. I am beautiful, gorgeous, and very talented. Because of that, I believe that I am happier than some of my peers. I enjoy life at a great deal regardless of what is going on in my life. I love me. I try to live my life as if it was my last day on earth. I say that because so much is happening in our world today. Therefore, I always strive to be a very happy person.
Unfortunately, in my culture, some people of color live stressful lives because they must work harder for what they need or want. Most of us were not born with what the older people would say, “a silver spoon in our mouths”. Therefore, we must keep ourselves together, no matter what may come our way in life. We all must be mindful that we must continue to strive for perfection.
My happiness score runs between the retired people which is a (5.6). I am right on par with the average.

The artifact that most engaged me was the Visual Artifacts ideas. I liked this one because I learned that a group of people can get together with one topic and form so many different points of view.
As the students and I were discussing the lesson, one student stated that the girl had to be pretty before he talked to her. While the other student stated that looks didn’t matter. But in the end, we all came to an agreement and said that looks were deceiving. It’s all in how a person carries themselves.
Even though this artifact alluded to “similarity leading to attraction”, others have found in their research that opposites attract better. I always believed that a prestigious, handsome, and intelligent man wants a thin queen. However, sometimes his attraction is to a full-figured intelligent woman, which means opposites attract. The group discussion gave me a greater insight into which one the students thought was the truest. I learned that even though you think that one idea is universal, you cannot prove whether it is true or not until it is tested.
Overall, these 9th graders had some amazing ideas while we were rating these two points of view. My students were very surprised by this discussion. They all enjoyed it. After a fruitful debate, all of them came up with, yes, similarity does lead to attraction.

This is one of my favorite archives. I say that because I learned that a group of people can get together with one topic and form so many different points of view. This archive was dealing with an old saying of how “similarity leads to attraction” while others have found in their research that there seems to be wisdom in the old sayings, ‘opposites attract. I have heard of a lot of old sayings, but I have never thought about getting a group of people together to see what the outcome will be dealing with similar attraction and opposites attract until I had to complete this assignment. So, from that statement, I learned that even though you think that something is true, you cannot prove whether it is true or not.
This archive, really expanded my knowledge because I never thought that you could use old sayings and have a good time with a group of people. I used my 9th graders with rating this old saying. Someone once said, “A prestigious, handsome, and intelligent man does not always want a queen?’ His attraction is to a full-figured, intelligent woman.” My students really enjoyed it. All of them came up with “Yes, similarity leads to attraction.”
Finally, this collage of pictures is relevant to this image because these pictures were taken in the classroom as we were doing the assignment. These six portraits were from the time that I read the question and collected the data from the question.
