Hello! My name is Victoria. I am married with two little boys and a golden retriever puppy. I was born and raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania but have been living in Chesapeake, VA for the last 7 years. I enjoy traveling and visiting as many new places as I can. In fact, my family and I are planning to visit every state in the US. We have been to 13 so far and use a scratch off map to keep track of the places we go.

My two boys are 9 and 6 years old. They are my biggest joy in life. I continue to learn so much about myself while raising them. My oldest was born with several serious health conditions. I learned everything I could to keep him healthy and, in the process, I realized I loved to learn about all things medical. I have an associate degree business but after my son’s health became stable enough, I decided to go back to school to pursue a different field. This is my second semester at ODU and I am majoring in psychology. After completing my bachelor’s in psychology, my goal is to go to medical school to become a physician assistant.

I am taking this class not only because it is part of my major, but also because I am very interested in psychology in social situations. It has always been fascinating to me to learn why people think and behave the way they do, especially in groups. I honestly enjoy all aspects of psychology. I am excited to learn and grow from this course.
