When it comes to the National Institute of Standards and Technology Cybersecurity Framework (NIST CF), it allows different organizations to have a clearer visual and understanding on how to manage cybersecurity risks. It allows these organizations to have a structured approach and easily identify, protect, detect, and respond with various different threats. The benefits include an improved view on risk management, well rounded compliance support, and heavier security measures. I would use the framework to assess different levels to current security practices, identify gaps between them, make improvements a priority, and create a plan to protect the sensitive data to maintain my businesses ability to continue.
