Cybersecurity Career Connections
I went to about 4 different tables and out of all of them the naval information warfare center table. They stood out to me because of the different ways of employment. Also they mentioned how the internship is paid and I can pause the internship to continue school. There are also several opportunities to get pay raises throughout the year. They also have offices up and down the east coast making it more appealing to me because it’s local. You may receive full time employment straight out of college also. Unfortunately I was unable to ask and see what a day as an intern at this job looks like. I asked all the important questions and forgot to ask the last questions needed to finish up the assignment. Nevertheless this event was a success in that it opened my eyes to all of the companies that are looking for more people in cyber security.
