4. How can I pitch ideas better?

When pitching ideas, I could improve on using less technical Jargon with individuals who may
not understand a subject well. For example, when talking to a cybersecurity student group, it’s
easy to refer to an 802.11 network and know that it works on two different frequency bands.
However, if you have this same conversation with the average consumer, you will often lose
them very quickly and sometimes upset people because it may make them feel less than you. In
addition, you never want potential clients, teammates, and Venture capitalists to turn off your
pitch. Therefore, it is essential to break your product down into six simple steps that don’t engage
too much technical Jargon but make users understand what your product will provide.
