1. Am I an entrepreneur? I believe that I am an entrepreneur. According to google an entrepreneur is, “a person who organizes and operates a business or businesses, taking on greater than normal financial risks in order to do so.” I have a photography business that I do on the side. I’ve had to take on great financial risk buying equipment not knowing if I was going to make the money back booking photo shoots. But As an entrepreneur, you have to be okay with it if you believe in yourself making it back.

2. What is success?  Success could be many things. Making a lot of money, achieving your goals, and maybe just living comfortably in your life. To many,d it’s a combination of everything because in my life I want to live comfortably a make a lot of money, so, that would be achieving my goals.

3. Am I a self-starter? How well do I follow through on my ideas? I would consider myself a self-starter because I am always wanting to learn more things. So I try to set aside time to learn things and try new things. For example, when I started my Photography business I did that all by myself I had to learn a lot of things on my own when it comes to editing and other things. I could have just only done the things I knew

4.     How does ODU view entrepreneurship   ODU views entrepreneurship as a vital and dynamic aspect of education and the broader community. The university provides robust support and resources for aspiring entrepreneurs, offering programs, courses, and initiatives designed to cultivate an entrepreneurial mindset and skillset. Specifically in the STROME Entrepreneurial Center. ODU encourages students, faculty, and community members to embrace their creative ideas, take risks, and pursue entrepreneurial ventures. Through its emphasis on entrepreneurship, ODU seeks to empower individuals to become agents of change, contribute to the local and global economy, and address societal challenges.

5. What is my role in this ecosystem? As a college student, my role in the ecosystem is that of a learner and a future contributor. I am actively engaged in acquiring knowledge and developing skills that will enable me to make a positive impact on the world.. By embracing my role as a college student, I am preparing myself to play an active and responsible role in the larger ecosystem, bringing fresh perspectives and driving positive change for the benefit of society.
