About Me

¡Hola! Growing up, I moved around a lot due to having a parent in the military. Two of the places that I´d say I grew up the most were Norfolk, VA and Leesburg, VA. I have also spent some time in San Diego, California and Guantanamo Bay, Cuba when I was younger. In my free time, I enjoy reading, writing, reflecting on nature and spending time with my friends.

Currently, I am a freshman at Old Dominion University that majors in English and plans on concentrating in teaching licensure. After my undergraduate years, I plan on pursuing a Master of Library and Information Studies degree at ODU as well. Because the United States has around the second highest concentration of spanish speakers in the world, it would not only benefit myself in educational/informational settings when interacting with people, but also those I interact with. Ultimately, there would be an easier flow of communication between both parties.

I love learning new things and have a knack for learning quickly. I would love to be able to obtain a career where I am able to support my community and nurture its educational growth and well-being.
