Computers have, without doubt, changed the world in many respects toward making it safer but have also changed it in ways to make it less safe. Modernizing in communication brought about computers; therefore, it made it easier for people to communicate, hence be in a position of reach others from all over the world. These have led to faster mobilization during natural disasters, medical emergencies, and other emergent crises, hence the quicker dissemination and response of information. Enhancing the security systems, which essentially are other computers’ applications, is another way in which computers have made the world a much safer place. Security has been a very important aspect, and the use of computers has brought great improvement to surveillance cameras, alarm systems, or any other systems.Lastly,when it comes to the medical field, computers have also helped the world. This caused them to properly diagnose and come up with other techniques to help save lives. 

Although there are some good things about computers, there are also some bad, with one being an increase in cybercrime. Being that many use computers, this can lead to an increase in hacking and stealing personal information. Also, the increased use of computers can cause some privacy concerns. People often store personal information, but this could unfortunately cause theft. This is why there is a need for stronger protection against the use of technology. Lastly, computers have made the world less safe because they are dependent on too much. Because of this, people have become more vulnerable to cyberattacks or system failures. 

In conclusion, computers have not only made the world more safe, but there have also been challenges that we constantly face that could make it less safe. So, to make sure we are more safe than sorry , we should make sure that they are safe and secure.
